ATA ITALY was created by the architect Claudio Zappone with the intent to unite different specializations in the field of architecture and to confront projects with a multi disciplinary approach. The maturity and years of experience in architecture and lighting and working as a team on several projects has led to the creation of ATA ITALY as a multi-disciplinary working group.
ATA ITALY’S particular method is to consider and unite from the outset all the architectural, structural, lighting and bio-climatic considerations. The studio takes advantage of the skills of different professionals who are able to offer specific focused experience for an organic design path. ATA ITALY believes that the overall result is linked to the ability to coordinate and tune the different specific components.
The main fields of ATA ITALY’s activities are the architectonic planning, the lighting design and the industrial design with particular attention to lighting systems. ATA ITALY continues to work in Italy and abroad for public administration, private clients and is also active in the field of professional teaching through the work of its coordinators in the most important Italian University Institutes.
In the field of architecture ATA ITALY is able to develop projects at all levels, from area planning, restructuring apartments/houses, developing projects from concept, through various planning phases including obtaining necessary planning permits, project management through to the final completion of the project.
ATA ITALY also develops projects and consultancies for low environmental impact ecological buildings conceived according to the criteria of bio-climatic architecture.
In the field of lighting ATA ITALY acts as a consultant for companies by analysing markets and developing new design lines. Design and verifies lighting techniques establishing conformity to the rules for resistance of the lighting system poles. ATA ITALY works for private individuals and for designers who wont to develop lighting projects for interiors or exteriors where particular lighting conditions and attention is required.
